Cardiovascular biomarkers and tools (CT, MRI, SPECT, ultrasound)

Through participation in large scale European projects, public private collaborations and bilateral research agreements with leading research organisations, we can provide services in a wide range of quantitative analysis problems, supporting population and clinical research.

Examples of quantitative imaging biomarkers and tools include:

  • Stenosis grading in carotid and coronary arteries
  • Plaque quantification and plaque component analysis (MR, CT, SPECT, US)
  • Quantification of heart chamber volumes (MRI, CT)
  • Epicardial fat quantification
  • Calcium detection and quantification, also per coronary
  • Coronary centerline extraction
  • Coronary segmentation
  • Coronary stenosis detection
  • Multimodal registration (e.g. CTA-SPECT; CTA-MRI perfusion) and integrated visualization
