System Administrator

At Quantib, we work hard to improve the accuracy and efficiency of medical image diagnostics. We do this by bringing state-of-the-art machine learning technology into clinical practice. Our software helps radiologists and other medical specialists with diagnosis, disease progression monitoring, and therapy planning. Currently, we have FDA-cleared/CE-marked products on the market related to neurodegenerative disease and prostate cancer.

Your goal

The rapid expansion of our local infrastructure, with the continuous addition of servers and workstations, as well as the development of our new cloud infrastructure requires more and more attention. As a system administrator, you will monitor and maintain our servers while ensuring their proper functioning and performance. In addition, you will contribute to maintaining the cloud infrastructure. Next to that, you will collaborate with our cybersecurity team to apply and ensure the compliance of our cybersecurity protocols. Finally, you will provide IT support to the different teams within Quantib.

Your role

  • On-premise Linux server administration (disk usage, cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Preparing and monitoring cloud Linux servers on AWS (creating, terminating, managing security groups and roles) and managing DNS records
  • Monitoring and maintaining CI/CD tools (on-premise, cloud)
  • Monitoring and improving backup systems
  • Server rack management
  • Managing accounts and licenses
  • Office hardware maintenance (laptops, docking stations, etc.)

Your profile

  • HBO degree with relevance to the IT Branche, or relevant working IT experience
  • Like to work independently
  • Like to work in a meaningful environment making an impact on improving healthcare
  • A valid Dutch or EU work permit.

Your skills

You have:
  • a structured and organized way of working
  • working knowledge as a Windows laptop system administrator for a fleet of laptops
  • working knowledge as a Linux server system administrator and knowledge of Bash scripting
  • experience managing cloud resources on AWS is a plus
  • good communication skills in English
