Quality and Regulatory Officer

Annewiet joined Quantib beginning 2020 as a Regulatory Associate. She is member number three of Quantib's Quality team that focuses on the countless procedures the company needs to arrange to the last detail to make sure Quantib complies with all medical device regulations. Annewiet finished her bachelor and master degree both at the TU Delft. She started with the Bachelor Industrial Design Engineering to learn about creative thinking and problem-solving. Because of her interest in the medical field and her enthusiasm for the designing of products that have a positive impact on the world, she continued with a master of Biomedical Engineering. During her second year, she tested living in Seoul to learn all about oral microbiology during an internship at the Faculty of Dentistry of Yonsei. Her final master research on creating new donor livers was performed at Erasmus MC with the LETIS group.

In her free time, you can find Annewiet in the kitchen baking pastries in all shapes and sizes, playing tennis, whizzing down a ski slope or cycling up the French Alps. She really enjoys living in Rotterdam and exploring all the fun restaurants and bars while meeting with friends.
