María joined Quantib in 2021 as a researcher from the BQ-Minded project under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement. She studied Biomedical Engineering Bachelor's degree followed by a master's degree in Information Health Engineering in Carlos III University in Madrid. During her master's she enjoyed teaching about systems and circuits, and digital image processing. Quantib was glad to welcome her as a junior R&D engineer, as she is eager to expand her skills on how technology can transform the medical field and improve patients' diagnosis and health outcomes.
During her free time, María loves meeting with her friends and hanging out, painting and reading. She is a music festival fanatic, mostly those that create a party with indie/rock or electronic are on top of María's whish list!
