Marieke Geessinck

Junior R&D Engineer

Marieke joined Quantib in March 2022 as a Junior R&D Engineer because after studying she was eager to get to know the company life.

She studied a Bachelor's degree in Technical Medicine, after which she got a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. After graduating, she continued the work of her master's thesis at a research group of the University of Twente. 

In her free time, she loves being with friends, going to summer festivals and doing all kinds of sports, for example cycling, running or tennis. Besides that, she enjoys taking care of a large collection of plants and it is impossible to catch her attention if there is a dog in the room.
