Principal Research & Development Engineer

Ronald is an experienced R&D engineer who can turn ideas and prototypes into a complete certified medical software product. His expertise covers the whole chain of prototyping a product, designing the software, setting up requirements implementing it, getting it certified for CE and/or FDA, as well as bringing the final software product to market. To this end, he uses his energy to coordinate the activities of the software developers, technical document specialists, quality assurance and marketing. He is also not afraid to get his hands dirty by contributing to the software development. Talented from high level project management, to detailed algorithm writing, that’s our Ronald.

Ronald joined Quantib in 2014 after finishing his studies in Delft and completing a PhD in medical image segmentation and registration at LUMC, Leiden.

Next to the technical part, Ronald loves interaction in- and outside the office. He participates in European projects, provides coaching of junior employees, and puts up quite a fight at the foosball table.
