Yiyi Cao

Clinical Scientist

Yiyi joined Quantib in November 2022 as a Clinical Scientist.

She obtained her MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Groningen. During her studies, she did an internship at the University Medical Center Groningen, where she studied how noninvasive brain stimulation could potentially improve cognitive functions of patients with neurological disorders. While learning to analyze diffusion MRI data, she was fascinated by medical imaging and decided that she would like to explore the field further.

Prior to coming to the Netherlands, she studied Neuroscience in the US and did computational research on Alzheimer’s Disease. She also worked at a healthcare startup, where she was dedicated to using advanced technologies to provide better cancer care to patients. She’s always been motivated to do meaningful work related to healthcare, and that’s why she is very excited to join Quantib.

Outside of work, you can find her exploring new biking routes in nature with her friends, visiting museums and brewing Kombucha. She also never misses a chance to pet any friendly cat that comes along her way.
