Sales Director US | Quantib

Job Summary

The Sales Director US is responsible for developing and maintaining key client relationships in the United States, in collaboration with Quantib’s team in the Netherlands. This person has at least 2-3 years of experience as sales manager with a focus on radiology IT products. The person combines a strong network in radiology (and preferably also urology) with in-depth clinical knowledge and very strong presenting and listening skills. This position reports directly to Quantib’s CEO.

Quantib has recently become part of RadNet. At Quantib, we are changing healthcare with artificial intelligence. We improve the accuracy of medical image diagnostics and increase efficiency by getting state-of-the-art machine learning technology into clinical practice. Our software helps radiologists and other medical specialists with diagnosis, disease progression monitoring, and therapy planning. Currently, we have FDA cleared/CE marked products on the market for quantification and diagnosis of neurodegenerative disease, multiple sclerosis, and prostate cancer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify new potential clients and drive new business growth in the United States.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of (potential) customer needs and requirements and communicate such needs effectively to management and R&D leadership.
  • Make and execute a regional sales plan.
  • Prepare accurate bids, price quotes and sales reports (via Quantib’s CRM).
  • Effectively educate potential clients on specific features and benefits.
  • Provide effective and compelling technology presentations.
  • Attend and participate in several US-based trade shows and conferences.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas while growing our businesses through obtaining new accounts and maintaining existing business.
  • Utilize existing relationships while developing new relationships with the accounts in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a medical/pharma/science field (or equivalent level of practical technical experience in radiology).
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience as a radiology application specialist/lab technician/MRI specialist within hospitals and a minimum of 2 years as a Sales Manager with a focus on Radiology IT products.
  • Service or commercial experience within the radiology field and/or healthcare IT.
  • A vast network in radiology is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute or support tactical sales plans.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently (home office) and as a team player.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain influential customer and supplier relationships. 
  • Superb verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter, hands-on, self-assured professional.
  • Working experience with (prostate) oncology and a network in urology is a plus.
  • 40-60% overnight travel will be required.
