Junior R&D Engineer

Iris joined Quantib in April 2022 as a Junior  R&D Engineer in the team focused on developing our prostate solution.

She studied Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in imaging. During the finalization of her Master's degree, she did her internship and Master thesis at the Netherlands Cancer Institute – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam. Here, she applied artificial intelligence for automatic diagnosis of metastatic tumors and automatic tumor detection for image guided surgery. After her studies it was clear to her that she wanted to continue applying artificial intelligence to advance healthcare. And which company is a better fit for this than Quantib?

During her free time she loves hosting dinner parties, going to summer festivals and doing sports. To recover from all the social activities, she enjoys going to the beach, preferably in Zeeland, to get a breath of fresh air and to relax.
