Quantib (registered as Quantib BV at KvK number 52945103, Westblaak 130, 3012 KM Rotterdam, The Netherlands) strictly adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant rules and regulations. Below you can find our Privacy Policy with additional information on how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your personal data collected through our website. What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog or website and when do we collect it?


When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address or other details to help you with your site visit. Also we use cookies to make sure we provide you with the best experience and offer you the right information. For details about the cookies we use, see the paragraph “Do we use ‘cookies’?”

We collect information from you when you register, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, fill out a form, enter information on our site or visit our website.

We also collect some anonymous data

During your visit we register some of your anonymous data like location, device type and how you entered our website. This information we use to track our website traffic and will not be linked to you.


Why do we collect your personal data
?

We may use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To improve our website in order to better serve you;
  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests;
  • To send you the periodic emails you signed up for (e.g. newsletters and notifications of blogposts);
  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested;
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature;
  • To send periodic emails regarding your order or other products and services;
  • To follow up with you after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries).

You are not obliged to provide your Personal Data. However, without your Personal Data we are not able to assure the correct functioning of our website and availability of all applications mentioned above.

We do not use the Personal Data you submitted online to enter into a contract. If at some point we need your personal data to draft a contract, we will always check your personal details with you.

We store your Personal Data collected through our website, through phone calls or during personal meetings for no longer than 5 years after last contact took place. If you would like more detail on our data retention period, please contact us.

Our CRM software provider, Hubspot, creates backups of our contact database which are stored across multiple locations. In the case that any of your Personal Data gets lost in one location, Hubspot ensures its retrieval through another backup location.


How do we protect your information?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all personal information you supply is encrypted during transit via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.  We also perform regular Malware scans on all our systems.

We only provide articles and information. We do not perform or initiate financial transaction through our website and we never ask for credit card numbers.

To ensure the collecting and processing of your Personal Data serves the intended purpose, we have appointed a Data Controller. The Data Controller is the person who (either alone or together with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which Personal Data are, or are to be processed. Our Data Controller is Ronald van 't Klooster.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. For more information see the website of our website platform Hubspot (https://www.hubspot.com/security).

In the unlikely event a data breach should occur, we will take immediate action upon notification by our CRM software provider Hubspot, and notify you via email without undue delay as specified by the GDPR.


Do we use 'cookies'?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow this) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile anonymous aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personal Data to outside parties unless we provide users with an advance notice and ask for consent. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users regarding our website, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may share your Personal Data with our sales partners representing us in other countries than The Netherlands. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.

Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. This information cannot be linked to you.

We use third party services such as Google Analytics 4, Leadfeeder or Hubspot Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website. This data may include information such as your computer's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We use this information to better understand who visits our website and how we can better serve our visitors. All IP addresses are anonymized, so the data can’t be linked to you.

We use Microsoft Clarity in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize our service and experience to them. It helps us understand how users are interacting with our website through session replays and heatmaps and enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Microsoft Clarity stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Microsoft Clarity is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. We use third party services such as Google Ads, Linkedin Advertising and Hubspot Advertising that collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website. This data includes information like the pages of our website that you visit and certain actions that you take (like filling in a form, clicking a button). We use this information to, based on your behaviour, show you personal offers which might interest you.

Third-party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party links on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.


Data access and portability

To process and use your information, we have asked for your consent. If you change your mind you can withdraw your consent at any time. We will assess your request and if we do not have a legitimate interest in processing your information and if the processing is not necessary for a public interest or needed by an official authority, we will cease using your personal information and if requested erase your Personal Data.

If, for any reason, you want information on how we use your Personal Data you have the right of access to your Personal Data. You can contact us and we will provide you with information describing all the personal data we store that is related to you. Also you have the right to rectify your Personal Data, please contact us and we will make sure to implement the requested changes. 

 

Secure Upload

This document describes the legal terms and conditions for using the Quantib Secure Upload, which is part of the Quantib Cloud Services. The secure upload link is a gateway to a secured online repository, where medical/non-medical professionals (“Users”) can store data for further assessment including but not limited to compatibility testing, troubleshooting and clinically related questions by a Quantib representative.

 

Cloud Trial

This document describes the legal terms and conditions for using the Quantib® Cloud Trial, which is part of the Quantib Cloud Services. The secure upload link is a gateway to a secured online repository, where medical/non-medical professionals (“Users”) can store data for further assessment including but not limited to compatibility testing, troubleshooting and clinically related questions by a Quantib representative.


Unsubscribing

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence of the same type as the email you received. For example, if you received a marketing email and opt-out through the link provided at the bottom of the email, we will unsubscribe you from all marketing related email. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, contact us at services@quantib.com with your request and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence.

 

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us at services@quantib.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For example in the EU country you live in, where you work or where the infringement of this policy you suspect took place. The supervisory authority with which the complaint has been lodged shall inform you on the progress and the outcome of the complaint.

You also have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. You have the right to have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
