The FDA clearance, Quantib’s 5th to date, further establishes the company as a leader in AI radiology solutions in the U.S. market. The news comes as Quantib is set to open its first U.S. office.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands – July 9, 2020 – Quantib, a market leader in artificial intelligence solutions for radiology, today announced FDA clearance of its AI workflow integration platform. The platform allows radiologists to use Quantib’s current and future algorithms, seamlessly integrated into their day-to-day workflow.

With volumes of CT and MRI scans increasing dramatically over the past two decades and the information density per exam also growing, radiologists continue to be overworked and challenged to incorporate all available data into their assessment. Quantib’s accessible “plug and play” radiology platform allows for faster diagnosis and better outcomes, significantly reducing risks.

The release of the platform comes amidst growing demand for accessible AI solutions by medical centers across the US. Prior to Covid-19 resources across the country were stretched thin and with the challenge of a pandemic, that lack of resources has become even more apparent. Quantib is helping to address this issue by opening an office in New York, bringing their solutions closer to radiologists, allowing them to deal with the workload and facilitate better outcomes.

“Our (pre-clinical) experience with the new Quantib AI Node is excellent,” said Dr. Wouter Veldhuis of UMC Utrecht. “It integrates seamlessly and already shows it can scale with increasing load and newly available algorithms. I really see this helping us improve patient care.”

“Quick, accurate diagnoses are the first crucial step towards better outcomes, yet most of the platforms radiologists are told to work with remain underutilized because of a complicated user experience” said Quantib CEO, Arthur Post Uiterweer. “Our platform’s FDA clearance means medical centers across the US will now have easy access to our powerful suite of solutions, which can be effortlessly implemented and will continually expand.”
